Ten years ago, we didn’t set out to start a wax melt company. We set out to live differently.

It started small with the medicine cabinet. One swap at a time, we replaced over-the-counter staples with herbal tinctures and natural remedies, leaning on what nature offered before reaching for anything else. That shift changed everything. Our family of five hasn’t needed an antibiotic or a cold medicine in a decade, and our medicine cabinet has turned into an apothecary.

What began as curiosity became conviction.

From there, the clean living journey moved room by room. Household cleaners. Personal care. Every product we brought through our door was scrutinized. We became the kind of family that religiously reads labels and asks questions.

Home fragrance was the last frontier, and surprisingly, the hardest one. We searched for wax melts we could actually trust: non-toxic ingredients, clean fragrance, nothing we’d have to second-guess around our kids or pets. We couldn’t find them. So we made them.

That’s how this brand was born: from a values system we’ve been living by for years.

We’re the Boatrights: Cathy, a business educator; Ryan, a Methodist pastor and educator; and our three daughters, Zoe, Zaida, and Zarah. This is a true family operation. Zoe leads marketing and customer service, Zaida runs research and development (she’s our in-house mixologist and the reason our scents are what they are), and Zarah contributes to the creative vision that makes everything look and feel like us. Cathy and Ryan oversee operations and finance.

We didn’t build this company to sell you something. We built it because we believe clean living is worth pursuing and that everyone deserves a home fragrance they can feel good about.
